Counselling & Mindfulness Based Therapy for Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas

An obstacle is often a stepping stone...

Welcome to my website, where I hope that you will get the answers you need so you can decide whether counselling feels right for you.

I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist working near Newmarket, which is on the border of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and within easy reach of Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall and Haverhill. I have experience working as a Counsellor for people with a range of issues, and also use Mindfulness techniques in my counselling and psychotherapy work.

On your first visit we can discuss how we might work together, exploring your hopes and expectations from the counselling process, which will give you the opportunity to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

Research suggests that the quality of the relationship between a client and a Counsellor or Therapist is a key factor in the outcome of any counselling or psychotherapy, so it is important to find somebody you feel comfortable with. Please browse these pages to find more details about me.

I will provide you with a safe, non-judgemental space where we can explore together the difficulties you may be facing. This will give you a chance to to understand the underlying reasons why you might be finding it difficult to cope, maybe feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress or relationship problems. Counselling will also offer you an opportunity for personal growth so that you can make positive changes in your life.

For more information or to book an appointment, please email me. Alternatively text or phone on 07896 110203.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Counsellor Annie McKinney, working within easy reach of Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas.
